Bengali, Muktajhuri.
An annual Indian weed of the easiest culture ; 1 to 2 feet high, with nettle-like leaves,
and flower-spikes having toothed leafy bracts. Its flowers bracts. Its flowers are small
and of yellowish color. The fruit is also small and is divided into three parts . The odour of the macerated leaves is nauseating. This plant is the Cupameni of Rheeds.
Found in :-Common throughout the plains of Pakistan and India as a weed and found in dunghills.
