Latin, Senex Cineria, Cineraria Martima ;
English, Dusty Miller.
A cultivated perennial plant, ash white all over with a woolly
coating; the branching stems somewhat woody at base ; leaves
pinnately parted and the divisions mostly sinuatelobed, the
small heads in a dense corymb. Flowers are bright yellow
provided with rays similar to the common Sunflower.
